| It all started in
1905 when Antonio Passanita traveled alone to America from Mavagna,
Sicily. He labored as a miner to earn enough money to bring
his wife, Antonia and son to America. They settled in
Dysart, PA and raised five children.
Antonia possessed a passion for
cooking. She had several recipes which were handed down
through the generations. Today, their grandson Rick has that
same passion and carries the family recipes on. He shared
his taste of the old world with his family and friends. They
all encouraged him to share his family recipes with yours. |
